Kien Giang: Planning Urban Area 1/500 New urban area, Vinh Hiep ward
The People’s Committee of Rach Gia City (Kien Giang) has consulted people in the planning area of Vinh Hiep ward and set up the detailed planning task of Vinh Hiep new urban area at the rate of 1/500.
The representative of the planning unit said that the Vinh Hiep ward subdivision plan of 310ha located in the Vinh Hiep Urban Area Plan with 610ha since 2015 is basically retained 90% compared to the past.
However, due to a number of government agencies outside the planning area, some adjustments and replacements have been made, increasing the area of the urban area to about 51 hectares. At the same time, embellish and maintain the existing residential area; adding Tran Quang Khai bridge from the canal bank of Vinh Hiep ward to connect with An Hoa ward in Tac Rang market area.
Particularly for the detailed planning of Vinh Hiep new urban area with a scale of 1/500 with an area of 180 ha of land is included in the 610 ha Planning of Vinh Hiep urban area of Rach Gia city. Specifically, Vinh Hiep new urban area, horizontally from Huynh Tan Phat street to Vanh Dai canal (about 1 km) and running south to north is from Don Giong canal – to the intersection of Tan Hoi morning canal with a length of about 3km.
It is known that the cost of survey, measurement and implementation of design consultancy is sponsored by a private enterprise for Rach Gia City People’s Committee.
Deputy Director of Urban Management Department of Rach Gia City, Mr. Ho Van Dan said, consulting agencies, organizations, individuals and communities in this planning area to complete the adjustment of the planning project. subdivisions and urban detailed planning blueprints according to the provisions of the current Urban Planning Law.
